A new Messaging System:

Personally I think the Xbox Messaging system needs to become a chatting system. Instead of sending 'text messages' you will now send 'chat messages' which means you will start a chat on your Xbox like you do on Whatsapp for example. You will be able to create a groupchat and invite other people to your groupchat and you have the ability to read older messages back.  You can also leave a groupchat and you will have the options to turn off certain notifications for certain messages. Ofcourse you can also send personal chatmessages to other people. With this new system I would also like to see the return of voice messages on Xbox One.

You should be able to read and send messages without closing the game and opening the messaging app. Now make the messaging app fade over the game so you can easily send a chat message back and return back to your game.

I would also like to see the option to send screenshots using the chat system. I will describe the screenshot function below.

Screenshots System:

So my idea was to add a screenshot function to the Xbox One were you can use a voice command to make a screenshot of your game. I think this would be a very nice addition to the social features of Xbox One. Having this new feature would be pretty cool and giving us the option to share those screenshots using the new chat system would be pretty sick.

Customizable Home screen:

If you ask me what I think about the Xbox Home screen I will tell you it's nice but kinda a mess as well sometimes. I like the idea behind the dynamic aspects of the Home Screen but I would highly prefer the option to create my own Home Screen. We have the option to pin apps but I think it would be much nicer if we had the option to design our own homescreen were we also have the option to turn off the Dynamic Aspect of the Home screen. Just give us the option to pin our favorite apps to our Home Screen so they will be easy to find and use.

For example: I would like to add the Twitch App, the Party App, the Messaging App and Achievements App to be static on my Home Screen so I can access them much easier.

Side Note: The Xbox One Dashboard itself feels a bit clunky and slow sometimes and I would definitely want to see some improvements on this.

Achievements:

With the launch of the Xbox One we also got introduced with a new Achievements System. I think this new Achievements system is pretty cool but the Achievements App needs some big improvements. I would like to have the option view my achievements without opening the achievements app. Just let us view our achievements faded over our game so we don't have to close our game to open the Achievements App if we want to read the achievement we just unlocked.

Also please add the Achievements App in the Snap list so we can snap the Achievements App next to our game.

Notifications:

Notifications are pretty important for a gaming console and I think Microsoft missed something with it. There weren't any friend notifications when the Xbox One released but we now know they are coming in the upcoming April Update. Allthough I think the Xbox One notification system needs some overall design changes. I think the notification system needs to return to the right cornor and needs to become a smaller message again like the Xbox 360. The Xbox One notification system is pretty big, slow and takes a lot of view away when you get a notification.

I think we should get a small notification in the right cornor of our screen when we receive a message, invite or when we someone signs in on their Xbox One or when we receive an Achievement.

If the notifications aren't going to be placed in the right cornor I would like to see the big green box on the bottom of screen to become a bit smaller.

Game DVR and Youtube Integration:

While I'm very happy with the Game DVR feature on my Xbox One I would like to see the record time to be increased to 10 minutes. 5 minutes just feels too short and most of my Multiplayer Matches are 10 minutes long.

I would also like to see the integration of Youtube with the Upload Studio so we can immediately upload our clips to Youtube instead of downloading them on our computers and then uploading them to Youtube. I think this would be a very good feature and would definitely give the Xbox One another great feature.

The Game DVR App itself should be loaded a bit quicker because it sometimes takes up to 30 seconds to even load the app in the Snap Feature.

Thankyou Microsoft for this amazing console and I would love to see these ideas and suggestions implemented in future updates for the Xbox One!
